Is There Life After Death?
- We live in a culture that is
largely uncomfortable with the concept of death.
- God’s purpose for our time
here on Earth is to prepare us for our life with Him after death.
- Our life gives us the
opportunity to show our love for God by choosing to follow Him.
- Our life gives us the
opportunity to grow in strength by applying our faith through the struggles
in life.
- Jesus proved the existence of
the afterlife when he rose from the dead after being crucified on the cross.
Scripture:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he
has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus
Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or
fade--kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power
until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last
time.” 1 Peter1:3-5
